What You’ll Be Doing
As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will be at the forefront of protecting the organization’s digital assets. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing security posture: You will manage and enhance the organization’s security across both on-premises and cloud environments.
- Overseeing penetration tests: You will organize and oversee annual penetration tests to identify vulnerabilities and implement necessary fixes.
- Leading campaigns: You’ll lead cybersecurity awareness campaigns across the business to foster a security-conscious culture.
- Developing a security plan: You will develop and execute a comprehensive security plan aligned with business goals.
- Delivering security initiatives: You will identify and deliver security initiatives to protect company assets.
- Building roadmaps: You’ll build and manage business cases and roadmaps for long-term security planning.
- Ensuring compliance: You will ensure compliance with industry security frameworks and standards.
- Developing DR plans: You will develop and test Disaster Recovery (DR) and Service Continuity plans for resilience.
- Managing partners: You will manage vendor and security partner relationships.
- Improving metrics: You will improve security metrics and KPIs with regular evaluations.
- Researching new tech: You will research and adopt new technologies and tools to enhance security.
What You’ll Need
We are looking for a candidate with:
- Relevant certifications: Certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CySA+, CASP+, PenTest+, or Microsoft Azure Security are required.
- Strong technical understanding: You should have a strong understanding of cloud security, firewalls, Microsoft 365, networking, and endpoint security.
- Current awareness: You should be aware of cybersecurity trends and hacking techniques.
- Analytical skills: An analytical mindset with excellent problem-solving skills is essential.
- Independence: The ability to work independently and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience: A minimum of 3+ years of cybersecurity experience is a must.
