About the Role
As a Cyber Security Analyst at DAC Beachcroft, your primary mission is to strengthen and evolve the company’s technical cyber security controls. You will actively monitor and maintain existing systems. In addition, you will support the evaluation and deployment of new tools and technologies. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy problem-solving, collaborating across departments, and enabling the organisation to adopt new technologies securely.
Key Responsibilities
Your core responsibilities will include:

Daily Management: You will manage daily operations, including Tessian, Phisher, KnowBe4, and handling cyber support tickets.

Team Support: You will support the Cyber team with day-to-day workloads.

Compliance Assistance: You will assist with compliance activities, security audits, and third-party assessments.

Education: You will contribute to colleague cyber security education and phishing simulations.

Documentation: You will clearly document processes for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Security Initiatives: You will deliver and support ongoing security initiatives.

Awareness: You will raise awareness of cyber security across the business.

Incident Management: You will assist in managing security incidents alongside the Governance and Risk teams.

Monitoring: You will maintain effective tracking and monitoring formats.

Regulatory Understanding: You will gain an understanding of DACB’s regulatory and contractual security obligations (ISO27001, GDPR, Cyber Essentials Plus).

Ownership: You will take ownership of additional tasks as required by the team.
Skills, Knowledge & Expertise
We are seeking candidates who possess:

A basic understanding of Cyber Security, Information Security, and Risk Management.

Experience in a Cyber/IT Security Analyst role is preferred, but it is not essential.

A Degree in Cyber Security or a related field is also preferred, though not essential.
