Your Role at Homebox
As a Customer Support Specialist, you’ll be at the forefront of our customer experience, ensuring every interaction is resolved with confidence and care. You won’t just be answering questions; you’ll be solving problems and owning the resolution process from start to finish.
Position Details:
- Type: Full-time, Permanent
- Salary: £24,000 – £35,000 per year
- Location: Sheffield S1 (in-person)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
What You’ll Be Doing
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
- Taking full ownership of escalated customer service cases, seeing them through to complete resolution. No passing the buck here!
- Quickly and accurately solving customer problems with both confidence and genuine care.
- Communicating with customers in a clear, human, and empathetic way, prioritizing phone conversations for direct engagement, followed by emails.
- Setting clear expectations for customers, acting swiftly, and consistently prioritizing efficient problem resolution.
- Meeting performance goals, aiming to close 90% of cases within one week of initiation.
- Ensuring smooth and effective handovers with other internal teams to maintain continuous customer service.
- Actively spotting patterns in customer issues, raising concerns, and contributing to our continuous improvement efforts.
