Role Details

• Job Title: Customer Service Officer
• Location: Borough Hall, Cauldwell Street, Bedford
• Salary: £30,559 – £33,366 per year
• Contract Type: Permanent, Full-Time (37 hours per week)
• Closing Date: 5th August 2025
• Interviews: Week commencing 11th August 2025

What You’ll Do

As a key member of our Customer Services team, you’ll be instrumental in supporting our residents. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing excellent face-to-face and phone support to our residents.
• Communicating clearly and professionally to efficiently resolve queries.
• Being an active part of a fast-paced team that genuinely cares about the local community.
• Working closely with colleagues across different services to deliver the best possible outcomes for our residents.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking someone who demonstrates:

• A positive attitude and a passion for customer service.
• A genuine enjoyment for interacting with people from all walks of life.
• A love for problem-solving and finding quick, effective solutions.
• Excellent communication skills in English, which are essential for this customer-facing role.
• The ability to pass an Enhanced DBS check.
