This position, based at 1 Spinningfields Square in Manchester (M3 3AP), is a 12-month temporary contract with strong potential for extension or even a permanent role. You’ll work at the forefront of financial security, making a tangible difference every day.

We’re looking for a motivated individual to join our team, earning £14.29 per hour, with shift allowances potentially increasing your pay up to £18.26 for certain shifts. This is a hybrid role, offering flexibility after your initial training period. Once you’re fully up to speed, you’ll only need to be in the office about six days per month.

What You’ll Do

As a Customer Service Advisor, your main responsibility is to detect and prevent fraudulent activity using advanced risk identification strategies. Your day-to-day work will be fast-paced and impactful:

  • Fraud Prevention: Use advanced tools to identify and stop fraudulent activities.
  • Customer Support: Investigate and analyze customer queries, escalating complex issues when necessary.
  • Communication: Clearly and effectively communicate with customers, as well as with internal and external teams.
  • Process Improvement: Contribute to enhancing our processes and ensure a top-notch customer service experience.

What You’ll Need

We’re looking for someone with a solid foundation in customer service and the right skills to thrive in this environment:

  • Experience: Previous experience in customer service, especially in a telephony-based role.
  • Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Resilience: The ability to stay calm and focused while handling calls in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to Detail: Excellent attention to detail and multitasking abilities are a must.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with data entry.
