The Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Marketing and Event Manager – Europe to take the lead in planning and delivering dynamic events and marketing campaigns across the UK, Nordics, and Benelux regions.

In this role, you will design and execute standout conferences, trade shows, and customer engagement experiences that perfectly reflect our brand’s excellence. Furthermore, you’ll support regional campaigns, communications, and engagement strategies to strengthen relationships with our partners and customers. You will work closely with our European Sales Team and the Head Office Marketing team in New Zealand to drive business growth and significantly raise Gallagher’s profile across Europe.

Key Responsibilities

As the Marketing and Event Manager, you will:

• Lead delivery: Plan and deliver high-impact security events across the UK and Europe.
• Manage execution: You will manage all aspects of event execution, including complex logistics, essential communications, and external vendor relationships.
• Drive campaigns: You will drive digital campaigns, marketing communications, and branding initiatives.
• Develop collateral: You will develop engaging collateral with consistent messaging and a strong brand identity.
• Track performance: You will track performance, measure ROI, and share valuable insights with stakeholders.
• Collaborate strategically: You will collaborate closely with sales, technical, and global marketing teams to ensure fully aligned strategies.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking an experienced professional who possesses:

• A degree-level marketing qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in B2B events and marketing communications.
• A proven track record in planning and successfully delivering large-scale events.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
• Experience in managing agencies, suppliers, and marketing budgets.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office is required; however, experience with Adobe Creative Suite or SEO/social media is a plus.
