What You’ll Do
As a Business Development Consultant, you will own the entire sales cycle, from prospecting and qualifying leads to pitching, closing deals, and nurturing key accounts. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:
- Driving new business with mid-market companies (those with revenues between £10M and £200M).
- Developing strong, consultative relationships with IT and Operational leaders.
- Partnering with our delivery teams to shape and accurately price proposals.
- Managing your sales pipeline effectively and providing clear reports on performance.
- Representing MBC UK at key industry events, digital forums, and with existing clients.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking a professional who brings:
- Proven experience in B2B sales, preferably within a digital agency or IT consultancy.
- A strong background selling software solutions or managed services to UK clients.
- An established network within the retail, finance, logistics, education, or health sectors.
- The ability to translate complex client needs into high-value, profitable proposals.
- Familiarity with nearshore or outsourced delivery models.
- A confident, self-starting communicator with a results-driven mindset.
