BAE Systems Digital Intelligence is seeking experienced professionals to join their team as a Business Consultant. Based in London or Manchester with a flexible hybrid working model (with considerations for both full-time and part-time applicants), this role offers an exciting opportunity to support national security and digital transformation projects.
About the Role
As a Business Consultant within BAE Systems Digital Intelligence, you will support clients throughout the lifecycle of their most challenging projects, from business justification and strategy development to design, planning, and implementation. Working closely with public sector and national security customers, you will build trusted relationships, identify risks and opportunities, and deliver innovative strategic advice.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Consulting: Guide customers in articulating and achieving their strategic goals across national security and complex digital programmes.
Change & Business Design: Assist in designing and implementing new business structures, developing business cases, and providing regulatory and policy advice.
Stakeholder Engagement: Build trusted relationships with public sector clients, leveraging an understanding of the organisational landscape of UK government agencies.
Continuous Development: Participate in the Consulting Development Framework to build expertise, whether bringing existing process mapping skills or growing into digital transformation and strategy.
Candidate Requirements
Professional Background: Experienced professionals with a background in business consulting, strategy development, change implementation, or project lifecycles.
Helpful Skills: Experience in digital, technology, and/or cyber domains, business case development, process mapping, and organizational design.
Public Sector Acumen: Familiarity with briefing, advising, and building relationships with public sector clients or UK government agencies.
Security Clearance Note: Due to the nature of the work, successful candidates will be required to hold an active Enhanced Developed Vetting (eDV) clearance.
