About the Role
As our B2B Events Manager, you’ll bring strategy, creativity, and innovation to all our event experiences. Specifically, from intimate roundtables to large-scale activations, you’ll deliver events that are anything but traditional—designed to surprise, inspire, and make people talk. Working closely with our sales and marketing teams, your mission will be to fuel acquisition efforts, deepen engagement, and nurture our growing community of product and UX leaders.
What You’ll Do
Your key responsibilities will involve:
- Strategy & Execution: You will design and execute a comprehensive B2B events strategy that actively supports both acquisition and expansion goals.
- Sales Alignment: You will partner with the sales team to align events with pipeline objectives and effectively reach key decision-makers.
- Community Building: You will build and nurture strong relationships with Askable ambassadors within the UX and product community.
- Flawless Delivery: You will deliver end-to-end event execution, covering everything from initial planning through to the flawless delivery of both in-person and virtual experiences.
- Strategic Partnerships: You will develop strategic partnerships with relevant brands to co-create unique and impactful activations.
- Process Efficiency: You will set up scalable systems and processes to streamline event planning and crucial follow-ups.
- Metrics & Improvement: You will track success through key metrics (such as engagement, pipeline impact, and brand reach) and continuously use data to drive improvement.
What You’ll Bring
We are looking for a candidate who can demonstrate:
- Experience: 3+ years of B2B event management experience (covering enterprise events, conferences, client dinners, and roundtables).
- Mindset: A strong marketing-first and clear ROI-driven mindset.
- Creativity: A creative approach to designing standout, non-traditional events.
- Collaboration: Excellent collaboration skills for working across sales, marketing, design, and community teams.
- Community Expertise: Proven experience in nurturing community voices into powerful brand advocates.
- Detail Orientation: You must be detail-oriented and process-driven, with exceptional project management skills.
- Communication: Strong communication and genuine relationship-building abilities.
- Bonus: Active involvement in the UX/product community with a strong LinkedIn presence is a plus.
