About the Role
As a Customer Success Engineer on our SASE team, you’ll be the go-to technical contact for our clients. From enabling secure environments to guiding cloud integrations, you’ll ensure customers get the maximum value from their Palo Alto Networks solutions. This is a role that balances strategy, hands-on technical work, and strong customer engagement, making it perfect for someone who excels at solving critical challenges while driving digital protection forward.
Key Responsibilities
Your core responsibilities will include:
- Implementing and operationalizing SASE solutions to help customers achieve their security goals.
- Providing technical guidance and support for cloud security product integrations.
- Furthermore, you will act as the first line of defense for customer needs and escalations.
- Advocating for customers to influence product improvements and future roadmaps.
- Coaching clients on Cloud Security Change Management and Governance.
- Building risk mitigation plans with account teams as needed.
- Becoming a trusted subject matter expert on Palo Alto Networks solutions.
- Tracking key metrics such as CSAT, adoption, renewal likelihood, and customer engagement.
Qualifications
We’re looking for a candidate who meets these qualifications:
Required:
- A BS/MS in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent military experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in post-sales, pre-sales, technical support, or consulting roles.
- A strong understanding of SASE architecture and networking protocols like BGP, OSPF, and EIGRP.
- Expertise with VPNs, IPSEC, SSL, TCP/IP, and various authentication protocols.
- Knowledge of Linux (including BASH and Python scripting).
- Proven experience in managing customer escalations.
- Strong communication and project management skills.
Preferred:
- A background in cybersecurity, networking, or cloud ecosystems.
- The ability to explain complex technical issues to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-growth environments.
