What You’ll Do as an Events Manager

As the Events Manager, you will be crucial to our success. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the full event lifecycle: You will lead the entire event lifecycle, covering strategy, meticulous planning, and flawless delivery.
  • Create content-rich events: You’ll partner across key departments (content, marketing, and sales) to create impactful, content-rich events.
  • Measure success: You will manage budgets, track key performance indicators (KPIs), and prepare insightful reports to measure success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop strategy: You will develop innovative event strategies that are directly aligned with core company goals.
  • Manage on-site logistics: You will ensure smooth on-site event management, including pre-event briefs conducted with leadership.
  • Stay innovative: You will stay on top of industry trends and bring fresh, creative ideas to every project you undertake.
  • Support department growth: You will support the growth of the events department and contribute to broader business goals.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate who possesses:

  • A Bachelor’s degree in Event Management, Hospitality, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing global conferences or coordinating multiple large projects simultaneously.
  • Strong time management skills and the crucial ability to collaborate effectively across different time zones.
  • Demonstrated success in event marketing, trade shows, speaker sourcing, and reporting.
  • Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Creativity, flexibility, and the confidence required to think outside the box.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems, Word, and virtual event platforms.
