D. M. Keith started as a humble family business over six decades ago and has since grown into a powerhouse with 26 locations and a stable workforce of over 600 people. Many of our team members have stayed with us for years because we truly care about our staff and our customers. In addition to on-the-job experience, we offer manufacturer training for product knowledge and access to a world-class sales trainer to help you become a “top one percenter” in the industry.

Choose Your Pathway

We currently offer two distinct types of training programs to help you find your niche:

1. Vehicle Technician Apprentice In this role, you will gain hands-on experience while studying for an industry-recognized qualification. You will work alongside seasoned experts to learn the technical skills required for a modern automotive career.

• Diagnose and Repair: Assist in identifying and fixing vehicle faults.

• Maintenance: Carry out routine tasks like oil changes, brake checks, and tyre replacements.

• Safety: Inspect vehicles to ensure they meet performance and safety standards.

• Technical Growth: Master the latest diagnostic tools and automotive technologies.

2. Customer Service Advisor Apprentice Your goal is to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by managing the repair booking process efficiently.

• Customer Interaction: Book vehicles in for repair via telephone or face-to-face visits.

• Organization: Prepare job cards, maintain filing systems, and provide progress reports to owners.

• Administration: Handle payments and all relevant paperwork accurately.

• Support: Manage courtesy car issuance to minimize customer waiting times.

• Qualifications: GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English.
