About the Role
As a Graduate Bid Writer, you will play a key part in Amey’s growth. You will provide creative written and editorial support throughout the bidding process, working across multiple sectors and new geographies. Indeed, you will collaborate with technical experts and professional bid specialists to win work that delivers sustainable infrastructure and protects our shared future.

What You Will Do
From day one, you will gain real-life insights into the world of professional bidding. Specifically, your responsibilities will include:

Drafting Content: Producing high-quality, persuasive bid responses and “wordsmithing” award submissions and CVs to improve readability and accuracy.

Editorial Support: Interviewing subject matter experts to turn complex technical information into engaging, compliant content using “Plain English.”

Strategy & Analysis: Supporting “storyboarding” workshops and analyzing client requirements to help maximize our evaluation scores.

Collaboration: Working under the guidance of experienced Bid Managers while using in-house AI tools to differentiate our bids.

Value Propositions: Helping to develop “win themes” that align with client needs and ensure we “win as one.”
What You Will Bring
We aren’t looking for prior bidding experience—we will train you in everything you need to know. Instead, we are looking for candidates who possess:

Academic Background: A degree in English, History, Creative Writing, Journalism, or a similar Arts-based subject.
