About the Dealing Services Agent Role:

As a Dealing Services Agent, you will support AJ Bell customers with placing and executing investment deals across a range of financial products. You’ll act as a key point of contact for customers, ensuring a professional, compliant, and high-quality service at all times.

In this Dealing Services Agent job in Manchester, your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting customers via phone, email, and secure messaging

• Placing and executing investment deals over the phone

• Handling inbound customer calls and responding to email queries

• Providing accurate information on trading and investment processes

• Delivering exceptional customer service in line with service level agreements

• Working in accordance with regulatory and compliance requirements

• Managing multiple tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment

• Maintaining accurate customer records using internal systems

Skills, Knowledge & Experience Required:

To succeed in this Dealing Services Agent job in the UK, you should have:

Essential Requirements

• A minimum of 5 GCSEs (grades 9–4 / A–C)* or equivalent, including Maths and English

• Excellent customer service skills

• A polite, professional, and confident telephone manner

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Desirable

• A keen interest in trading and investing

• Previous financial services experience (not essential – training provided)

Working Hours & Shifts:

• 40 hours per week

• Shift-based rota covering:

  • Monday to Friday: 8:00am – 9:00pm

  • Some bank holidays

• Hybrid working model available after initial onboarding period
