About the Role

As an IT Consultant, you will be a critical asset, primarily responsible for managing and supporting diverse clients through both remote and eventual on-site engagements. Your duties will span the full spectrum of technical support and infrastructure management, ensuring secure, smooth, and scalable IT operations. You will be instrumental in helping organizations thrive through technology by focusing on compliance and business continuity.

Key Responsibilities

Your technical expertise will be put to use across several crucial areas:

• Technical Support Delivery: Providing high-quality 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line technical support directly to end users.
• System Design & Implementation: Designing and actively implementing secure, highly scalable IT systems.
• System Management: Managing installations, configurations, and ensuring the ongoing maintenance of client systems.
• Cloud Solutions: Supporting and managing cloud-based solutions, including JumpCloud, Okta, Google Apps, or Office 365.
• Network Optimization: Managing and optimizing networks, including configuration of routers, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Mobile Device Management (MDM): Overseeing MDM utilizing tools like Apple DEP and ABM.
• Server & Directory Services: Configuring and maintaining Windows Server, Active Directory, and Azure AD.
• Performance Tools: Utilizing tools such as Adobe CC, Bash scripting, and VOIP systems for enhanced IT performance.
• Compliance & Security: Ensuring all systems fully comply with business continuity and robust security standards.

Key Skills & Experience

To excel in this consultant role, candidates must possess a proven background in supporting complex, multi-client IT environments:

• Mac Expertise: Strong, demonstrable experience with Mac systems and providing technical end-user support.
• Infrastructure Knowledge: Working knowledge of essential networking concepts like DNS, and experience with Cloud IDPs and comprehensive network management.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities to quickly diagnose and resolve technical issues.
• Proactive Approach: A proactive and forward-thinking methodology towards building efficient, secure, and robust IT infrastructures.
• Client Management: Proven experience in managing diverse IT environments across multiple clients simultaneously.
