About the Role

As a Network Engineer, you will be an integral part of our Core Engineering function, directly supporting product, data, and AI-focused teams. You’ll play a crucial role in ensuring secure connectivity, seamless content delivery, and automation across our hybrid and multi-cloud environments. This position seamlessly combines network security, DevOps automation, and edge performance optimization to deliver secure, scalable, and high-performing infrastructure.

Furthermore, you’ll work with leading technologies like Akamai CDN, Palo Alto Prisma Access (SSE), AWS networking, and Terraform to support our business growth and transformation. Collaboration is key; you will partner with cross-functional teams, agencies, and stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud networking and web security solutions.
• Configuring and managing Akamai services, including WAF, Edge Logic, Property Manager, and PKI.
• Leading firewall security policy administration and managing escalated infrastructure support.
• Overseeing DNS, VPNs, SSL/PKI, and LAN infrastructure.
• Delivering CI/CD automation using Terraform, GitHub, and Bitbucket.
• Monitoring and troubleshooting issues using Datadog, packet analysis, and various cloud tools.
• Collaborating across product, data, and tech teams to ensure solutions align with business needs.

What We’re Looking For

We are seeking a candidate who brings:

• Strong experience in Network Engineering and DevOps.
• Hands-on expertise with Akamai CDN, Prisma Access SSE, and AWS networking.
• Knowledge of firewalls from Palo Alto and Check Point, as well as core routing and switching protocols like Cisco, Juniper, OSPF, and BGP.
• Proficiency in Terraform, automation, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience in content delivery, web security, and DNS management.
• Strong problem-solving skills, ITIL knowledge, and expertise in stakeholder management.
• A calm demeanor under pressure, along with a proactive and collaborative mindset.
