Role Details

• Location: Stafford (Hybrid – 3 days in the office, 2 days working from home)
• Salary: £30,000 – £45,000 per year
• Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

What You’ll Do

As an IT Project Engineer, you’ll manage a variety of technical projects from start to finish. Your key responsibilities include:

• Collaboration: You will collaborate with sales, project management, and engineering teams to design and deliver tailored IT solutions.
• Assessments: You’ll carry out IT infrastructure assessments, audits, and improvements.
• Delivery: You will deliver projects on time and within budget, all while ensuring client happiness.
• Technical Support: You’ll act as the technical bridge between clients and internal teams, offering support and troubleshooting.
• Documentation: You will develop and maintain technical documentation, including network diagrams, configurations, and processes.
• Team Support: You’ll also support other areas of EPX as needed.

What We’re Looking For

We’re seeking a candidate who brings:

• A minimum of two years of experience in MSP-related IT support.
• Strong communication, customer care, and problem-solving skills.
• A proactive and “can-do” attitude with technical enthusiasm.
• The ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A full UK driving license with access to your own transport is required.

Technical Skills:

• Microsoft / Office 365
• Windows Server (2012–2019, including Hyper-V)
• Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPO, RDS & Azure AD
• Networking (TCP/IP, VLAN, Wireless technologies)
• IT Security solutions
• Azure setup, maintenance & troubleshooting
• Backup solutions & OS deployment (Intune)
• MSP tools (ConnectWise / Service Desk software)
