About the Role

As a Junior Data Analyst, you’ll play a key role in turning complex data into meaningful insights. You’ll work alongside teams across our Editorial, Product, and Commercial departments to support smarter business decisions and drive real impact.

Key Responsibilities

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Analysing and interpreting data across various platforms, such as CRM systems, print tracking, and digital usage.
• Designing dashboards and reports to guide editorial and commercial strategies.
• Collaborating with stakeholders to embed data in everyday decision-making.
• Delivering ad-hoc insights to the Head of Data & Insight.
• Supporting the Group CRM Lead with analysis and reporting tasks.
• Assessing the impact of changes to products, services, and content.
• Partnering with Product Managers and UX Designers on A/B testing projects.
• Championing a culture of data-informed thinking across the business.About You

We’re seeking someone curious, analytical, and collaborative who can communicate data clearly and effectively. To be a great fit, you’ll need to bring:

• Training in data analysis, data science, or data engineering.
• Experience working with editors, sales teams, product managers, or developers.
• Strong communication skills to present findings to diverse audiences.
• The confidence to explain complex data in a simple, engaging way.

Core Skills & Technologies

• Advanced Excel: You should be proficient in advanced Excel and other spreadsheet functions.
• SQL: You’ll need to use SQL for database queries and maintenance.
• Google Analytics: Experience with Google Analytics or similar tools is required.
• Data Visualisation: You should be comfortable with platforms like Power BI or Tableau.
