Role Overview

As an IT Project Manager, you’ll lead strategic and high-impact projects, ensuring smooth delivery from start to finish. Reporting directly to the Project Delivery Manager, you’ll work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and suppliers to bring large-scale IT and infrastructure projects to life.

Key Responsibilities

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Efficient project management: Coordinate and manage multiple workstreams for maximum efficiency.
• Driving collaboration: Drive collaboration across IT, business teams, and external suppliers.
• Establishing governance: Establish and maintain project governance, reporting, and processes.
• Overseeing project details: Oversee budgets, schedules, risks, and dependencies effectively.
• Ensuring high quality: Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest quality.
• Clear communication: Communicate clearly with stakeholders at all levels.
• Creating documentation: Produce essential project documentation, plans, and assurance materials.
• Financial reporting: Track costs and provide accurate financial reporting.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a candidate who brings:

• A degree or equivalent professional experience.
• A project management accreditation (Prince2, APMP, Scrum Master, etc.).
• Eligibility for security clearance (BPSS or higher).
• Hands-on experience in delivering complex IT projects.
• Strong knowledge of infrastructure, cloud (Azure), M365, and databases.
• Proficiency with tools such as Azure DevOps, JIRA, or similar.
• Excellent collaboration, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and a problem-solving mindset.

Remote Working & Travel

This role offers a flexible work-life balance:

• You’ll work 90% remotely, with flexibility across the UK.
• Occasional site visits will be required (approximately 2 days per month).
• A travel allowance and accommodation support are available, based on eligibility.
