About the Role
This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary ranging from £25,001 to £30,000 per year. As a Customer Experience Representative, you’ll be a vital part of our mission to revalue rail and transform the way people travel. You’ll be on the front lines, ensuring every passenger feels welcome and supported.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your daily tasks will include:
- Passenger Support: You will assist passengers with ticketing, directions, and real-time updates.
- Service Delivery: You will ensure smooth service at stations and safely dispatch trains.
- Peak-Time Presence: You will provide a welcoming and calm presence during busy travel times.
- Technology Use: You will use technology like tablets and smartphones for real-time coordination.
- Safety First: You will promote safety and follow all procedures at all times.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who has:
- Communication Skills: You are an excellent communicator with a friendly, professional manner.
- Resilience: You stay calm under pressure and are quick-thinking in fast-moving situations.
- Teamwork: You are a team player who is also confident working independently.
- Flexibility: You are available to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- Technical Comfort: You are comfortable using mobile devices and basic tech.
- Experience: Prior experience in customer-facing roles is preferred, but not essential.
Important Information
- Assessment Day: The assessment day is scheduled for Friday, 19 September 2025, at Bristol Temple Point.
- Multi-tasking Test: Candidates applying for the Dispatcher role will need to complete a separate multi-tasking assessment.
- Training: Full training is provided, including a 3-week course in Swindon.
- Final Stage Checks: The final stage includes a medical check, a DBS screening, and drug/alcohol and colour vision testing.
