What You’ll Do

As a Data Scientist, you will be a key player on a talented delivery team of data engineers and visualization experts. You’ll be responsible for designing and delivering powerful data science solutions while engaging directly with clients and stakeholders to ensure value-driven outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Developing and delivering high-quality, impactful data science solutions.
  • Collaborating with stakeholders to meet client needs efficiently.
  • Participating in pre-sales activities using your data science expertise.
  • Estimating project timelines and ensuring timely delivery.
  • Leading workshops and creating detailed technical documentation.
  • Detecting and resolving potential project issues early.
  • Overseeing the testing, deployment, and handover phases.

Skills & Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you must have:

  • Expertise in Python, R, and Databricks.
  • Strong experience in delivering real-world data science solutions.
  • The ability to lead projects from scoping to delivery.
  • A solid understanding of AI and machine learning models.
  • Strong consulting, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Bonus Skills (Nice to Have):

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Azure tools (DevOps, Data Lake, Functions, Power BI).
  • The DP-100 Azure Data Scientist Associate Certification.
  • Experience in the Blue Light, NHS, Local Government, or Housing sectors.
  • Knowledge of MLOps frameworks.
  • Agile or Prince 2 certifications.
  • Eligibility for Security Clearance & NPPV Level 3.
