Role Overview
As our Social Media Officer, you will become the authentic voice behind ExtraCare’s digital presence. You’ll manage and actively grow our social media platforms – from Facebook and Instagram to LinkedIn, TikTok, and YouTube. Your creative content and dedicated online engagement will help us reach more people, tell more compelling stories, and ultimately generate quality leads for our vital services.
Key Responsibilities
Specifically, your key responsibilities will include:
- Creating, scheduling, and publishing highly engaging, audience-focused content across multiple social media channels. 📱
- Leading our community engagement efforts by promptly responding to messages and sparking genuine conversations with our audience. 💬
- Collaborating effectively with our marketing, sales, and charity teams to successfully promote campaigns and key initiatives. 🎯
- Utilizing various design tools to craft eye-catching images and compelling video content. 🎨
- Staying completely up-to-date with the latest platform trends and social media best practices to ensure our strategies are cutting-edge. 📈
- Contributing significantly to our broader digital marketing strategy, thereby extending the charity’s online reach even further. 🌍
About YouWe are looking for someone who possesses:
- Strong written and digital creative skills, enabling you to produce impactful content. ✍️
- Proven experience using social platforms for brand building and effective lead generation.
- Solid knowledge of PR principles, audience engagement strategies, and reputation management.
- A genuine passion for sharing the stories and enriching the lives of older people. ❤️
- Proficiency in basic design and video content creation.
Salary & Hours
- Salary: £26,769 per annum
- Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Full-time)
