 About the Role

As a Business Development Representative (BDR), you’ll be at the heart of our sales engine—identifying, engaging, and qualifying potential leads within a defined territory. You’ll collaborate closely with the sales team, play a crucial role in nurturing client relationships, and contribute to growing our business pipeline. This is a perfect launchpad to progress into an account management or senior sales role.

Your Day-to-Day Responsibilities

🔍 Lead Management

  • Identify and qualify both inbound and outbound sales leads
  • Effectively pitch Minitab’s solutions to convert interest into sales opportunities
  • Work closely with Account Executives to manage and develop the sales pipeline
  • Keep the CRM up to date with real-time lead and opportunity updates
  • Stay ahead of the competition by understanding our products’ unique selling points

🌍 Territory Management

  • Track and manage all active and nurturing leads within your territory
  • Maintain detailed records of lead history and engagement
  • Convert Marketing Qualified Leads (MQLs) into Sales Qualified Leads (SQLs)
  • Build strong relationships with key decision-makers and industry contacts
  • Support marketing campaigns and drive traffic through engagement activities

📈 Development & Growth

  • Create and implement a personal business plan in line with your career goals
  • Stay up to date with industry trends and continuously grow your market knowledge
  • Participate in team training, coaching, and mentoring opportunities
  • Contribute to the success of the team by mentoring new BDRs when needed

What We’re Looking For

Requirement Details
Education Bachelor’s degree preferred (not essential)
Experience Entry-level role – ideal for those with customer-facing or BDR experience
Skills Strong time management, communication, and interpersonal skills
Personality Motivated, goal-driven, team player with a passion for sales
Languages English fluency essential – German language skills would be a bonus! 🇩🇪
