What You’ll Learn & Contribute As a Business Development Intern
This internship is designed to equip you with real-world sales and marketing skills in the SaaS industry. You’ll gain hands-on experience working alongside sales professionals, business development representatives, and marketing leaders.
Here’s a breakdown of your learning journey:
Prospecting & Lead Generation
- Master the fundamentals of identifying high-value prospects
- Learn how to target decision-makers within tech-driven companies
- Understand what makes an ideal customer profile in SaaS sales
Shadowing & Sales Enablement
- Listen in on real sales discovery calls, product demos, and closing negotiations
- Get exposure to best practices in objection handling and value positioning
- Learn how tech sales teams collaborate to win clients
Market Research & CRM Strategy
- Conduct in-depth research on companies and key decision-makers
- Support data enrichment projects for both prospective and existing clients
- Learn to work with key tools like Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and other CRM platforms
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with a global, cross-functional team
- Participate in brainstorming and knowledge-sharing sessions
- Be a part of initiatives that directly impact the sales pipeline
Internship Requirements
To succeed in this internship, you should bring:
✅ Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree
✅ Full-time availability from July to September 2025 (40 hours/week)
✅ Willingness to attend mandatory in-office days
✅ Excellent written and verbal communication skills
✅ Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks based on urgency and opportunity
✅ Strong interest in technology sales and marketing
✅ Familiarity with Microsoft Office is a bonus
