About the Role:

As an HR Graduate within this leading pharmaceutical organisation, you will undertake a vital generalist role, providing essential support to the UK HR team across a diverse range of administrative and employee lifecycle activities. For instance, you will be involved in facilitating the onboarding process for new employees. Furthermore, you will actively contribute to exciting and impactful HR projects. Consequently, you will gain comprehensive exposure to all facets of human resources while developing invaluable practical skills.

Key Responsibilities:

As our HR Graduate, you will be involved in:

  • Thoroughly checking and efficiently administering employment contracts for all new hires.
  • Providing crucial support for the onboarding process, including facilitating engaging induction programmes and managing essential pre-employment checks.
  • Actively assisting with mini-projects aimed at enhancing overall business efficiency, such as data collation and the generation of insightful reports from HR systems like Workday.
  • Providing comprehensive administrative support to ongoing HR projects and the daily operational needs of the HR team.
  • Developing a strong understanding of company policies and procedures to effectively triage and address employee queries.

Qualifications & Skills:

We are seeking enthusiastic graduates who possess:

  • A degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or another people-centred field of study.
  • Experience of thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • The ability to handle sensitive and confidential employee information with the utmost discretion and professionalism.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with colleagues at all levels.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • A confident, proactive approach to work, coupled with a strong eagerness to learn and develop.
  • A CIPD qualification (or working towards it) would be considered a significant plus.
  • A genuine passion for the field of Human Resources and a strong interest in employee development.
